Hi guys!

The only way to make a 360 video is with a mirror lens like Pano Pro MKII?

Tom

that looks like a cool camera. Parallex error may be a problem with lenses far from the nodal point. If the lenses handle it, I want one! Ladybug 3 is worse than ladybug 2 for parallex error.

Hahaha, I do google everytime. I'm not a kind of lazy guy. But sometimes it's hard to find the right keywords because my english for some technical words is very poor.

I saw the little Sony, it look likes a 360 toy camera. Am I wrong?

I'm just curious about the 360 videos. I'm always looking for creative ways to do 360. But I still haven't found anything with sharp quality 360 videos with fullscreen. Does anyone saw an image produced with the Pano Pro MKII Lens with a fullframe camera like the Canon 5DMKII?

Here in Brazil an advertising agency produced a commercial video with the 360 for web. You can use the mouse or the webcam to control pan with face detection technology, isn't cool? They use the Lady Bug 3.

www.axe360.com.br

The client is a deodorant brand, Axe. The concept is something like "Don't lose your time worrying with your sweat, loose your time keeping the eyes on the girls"

The agency says that is the first 360 commercial video in the world.

Regards,
Tom.

That was terrible.

I did wait the whole time needed until the video started, then there was a question about which way I would like to control the video (facial recognition through webcam or with mouse), I chose the webcam. The video started, autorotated, and did no facial recognition at all... either that, or I'm so ugly that the face was recognized as my backside or something... so I gave up, reloaded the page, and chose mouse as a controller... and it was partly controllable, but a terribly bad experience.

I wish it had been good, since it would further our field.

Hmm, I don't get it?

What was that? It took forever to download and then I had no idea why I waited because I don't understand why or what I was supposed to do. I dragged it about and every two seconds a "Play" button would come over the screen.

Very odd marketing, a little too much white powder I suspect at that agency.

Oh, and the "plumbers crack" *Shudder* in the video footage cry .

BTW: Total white screen with Opera browser, had to open with Firefox to get anything.

Well, it is an ad for an de-odorant .... maybe one is supposed to think: "Don't sniff crack" ... or "All bad smells are covered up" ?

Same here with the play button coming after clicking and releasing the click (after moving the pano). Absolute horror.

I think it's a cool way of working with linear video to shoot it with a 360 camera. Hire me...

I am surprised that no one have mentioned www.immersivemedia.com/

I am not sure - but I believe it is them who developed the technology for Google Streetview.

you can see their demos here: www.immersivemedia.com/demos/index.php

They are also looking for agents.
