I determined the NPP for my NN R10 + 5 deg. / Sigma 8mm / D300 combo using the usual method, i.e. John's method, which has alaways served me well. If it is accurate the base of the R10 should be square, at least I think so. Everything stitches very nicely but the R10 base comes out as a Isosceles trapeziod.

Another question concerns whether PTGui does a better job than Panorama Tools at blending the zenith in a +5 deg setup. I seem to remember something about blend priority affecting the star pattern. I love the prospect of being able to set up for a pano so quickly.

May be because the sensor is rolled? How about showing a picture of your nadir?

If you just take 4 shots around, blend priority should be equal.
