lenstip.com/160.1-Lens_review-Samyang_8_mm_f_3.5_... This site has a review of Samyang's new FE 8mm lens for crop-sensor cameras. FWIW their 85mm F1.4 lens (manual focus) has received a lot of praise. I found an ad for the Samyang FE on fleabay at £229. I imagine that this may be of interest to forum members. Edit. The lens is also manual focus although in this application I can't imagine anyone would miss AF. Roy

Looking at the sample images its not near as sharp as our old peleng 8mm manual.
