Any recommendations for an underwater housing?
Posted: 9 Apr 2009 at 16:55 GMT
Was looking into some underwater panos (at water level or just under..snorkeling not deep).

Any recommendations for a housing to support a 40D w/8mm fisheye, or a 5DM2 with 15mm fisheye?

www.uk-germany.com/
reasonable pricing and very good support.
I own a housing for a Canon 1ds MkII for a 15 mm fisheye
and have made HDR-underwaterpanos with it.
Works perfectly smile

Spyboy, You might want to put a "Wanted" add in these forum's classifieds.. Who knows, you might get lucky. They are very pricey!

Also not sure what would fit around an 8mm without getting in the picture.

Seems like a very pro (and expensive) solution, I have no experience with it, but maybe you can use the info:

Have a nice day,

It may be a bit of overkill for what you are after Spyboy, but I have an Ikelite housing...I cannot recommend them highly enough...rated to 60 metres and the clear housing lets you see the controls.

Have you considered an EWA Marine housing. I havent used them or had a look at them up close, but it may do the job.

Cheers
Brett.
