just a small Canon A590 IS, I love this P&S camera There is all the necessaries options on it : av, tv, manual and so on.

Then I think a Nodal Ninja 3 might be suitable along with one of the T-adapters to cope with the offset tripod socket on the camera.

IMO the NN3 ismuch more versatile, although abit more expensive, because you could (also) use it for shooting multirow with standard built-in camera zomm lens or a different WA convertor. And it helps to have small upward tilt with the FE to give better coverage at the zenith.
