Hi Everyone,
I want to make spherical panoramas for real estate work and want to achieve good quality.
I am completely new to photography and panoramas and need you people's help on the configuration needed of the devices to make such panoramas. The configuration that I have decided on till now based on the research I did are :
Camera : Canon EOS 450 D Lens : Sigma 8mm 3.5 Fish eye lens Tripod: 555b column leveller Manfrotto PanoHead: Agnos "MrotatorUT" Basic Bracket + Rotator "T"
When I had mail conversation with Agnos people, they told me that Agnos panohead("MrotatorTCPshort" Kit MrotatorT with bracket) will be better for my requirement. Can someone please help me with choosing the panohead configuration for the selected set of devices? Is later suggested panohead better than the earlier basic one and Whats the advantage of TCP short kit?
Please comment or suggest better alternatives/upgrades to this configuration in case the selected devices may not be able to give desired result.
Thanks in advance!!

Other pano heads you might consider - the Nodal Ninja 3 or 5 series, and the 360Precision Atome.

Agnos MrotatorUT panohead will be fine for use with your equipment, it is designed for use with lighter plastic body cameras. The MrotatorUT panohead is lighter and not as strong as the MrotatorTCPshort (Solid Steel). Meaning if you can afford the MrotatorTCPshort then you should do so. But the MrotatorUT panohead will work fine for you.
I use both and they work fine. The MrotatorUT panohead has upper arm detents/click stops also.

Hi Saty I am also new to Panoramic photography and, like you, I have Camera : Canon EOS 450 D Lens : Sigma 8mm 3.5 Fish eye lens Tripod: Manfrotto 190XPROB Having looked through this forum I decided on the Nodal Ninja 3 and am pleased with my first results.

Hi Saty, Nodal Ninja 3 MKII is an excellent pano head for your 450D using the 8mm, as many will agree. We have the settings for you as well so no second guessing there. All NN's also come with rail stops that will help to remember the position of your camera once it's setup for easy on and off. At $199USD (stand alone) compared to the MrotatorUT at $327 you would save ove $125USD - enough to buy the new 2nd generation EZ-Leveler-II. The NN3 MKII package at $229.90 is our best value and includes a nice case and extras. Nodal Ninja also comes with a 2 year warranty - Agnos is 1 year. Nodal Ninja comes with a 30 day return policy - Agnos does the same but charges 10% restocking fee.
Also we have excellent phone, forum, and email support. www.nodalninja.com/testimonials.html Touch bases with me off site should you consider the Nodal Ninja and I can even help you out a bit more. Cheers Bill
