Hi guys, bought the app last week hoping to play with flash 10 but have not yet received my invite to the group to update to flash 10. On the group are there any more templates/code? emailed a few times but no luck with Denis. Can someone else invite me to the google group to grab the files?

Have a buddy who is an xml guru, any resources that really helped you along the skinning phase? I am willing to learn but I figure a tutor will really help.

Have fun

Dylan,

I also purchased a copy of this app years back and not once have I ever received any invite. Response from Denis is very slow, if at all to personal emails. Even when updates are released I don't get informed. You would think you would at least get a download to the latest release! Can't help but feel I was ripped off with Flashpanorama Player. At least it's too hard to find downloads and support.

Good luck, I'll stick with Thomas and Pano2VR now with Flash 10 and Skin Editor.

Regards, Smooth cool

The Update files are downloadable from the google group.

Ive looked to see if I can invite you but i can't find anything. Must be admin only thing?

I sent Dennis an email on the 16th and received the attachment an invite the next day. If I didn't receive an email then I'd post on his forum or try emailing him again.

What you'll find Sam is people won't spend more than 2 minutes of their own time trying to get support but will quite readily spend 10 minutes posting about it on some unrelated forum. It just seems that this is pretty much standard practise from people that live their lives online.

Dennis makes it abundantly clear on his website that he's extremely busy at the moment and it may take a few days to get a reply.

But I'm not sure what's meant to be achieved by posting about it on panoguide ?

Matt why do you have to be such a jerk? I would post on his forum, but alas I am still waiting for the moderator to allow me to post. I did try another email. I was simply asking if anyone else could invite me to the group.

I emailed Denis on the 17th about the update from vs. 2.2 to 2.3. I recieved the 2.3 zip file this morning. He just gets to you when he can I guess.

Received some emails from Denis this a.m and also got my zip smile
Looks like there is something going sideways with google groups though. Are there other files there for helping with skinning the viewer? If not I wont worry about it.
Shot a pan at my brothers wedding that I wanted to make in flash 10. Off to have a play smile
Cheers

How is it being a jerk when I simply posted the facts. I just think it's rude and no ones business outside of the transaction between yourself and Dennis. But like I said, people seem to take pleasure from posting such nonsense on forums.

Just realised that for some reason the quoted text from "Smooths" post didn't appear in my original post. And that was who my reply was directed at.

Plus what you're really doing is asking someone to illegally share the updated files with you. How do we know you actually bought the app ? I also thought it was against the forum rules to ask other people to share software. Not sure why you think other members of the google group would have the rights to invite you.

It seems like people on this forum are happy for anything to be ripped off as long as it's not their own work. Quite funny actually.

The main place for discussing FPP is the flashpanoramas.com forum

The Google Group was created by Denis especially for communication regarding files for update like the flash10 preview.
Thats why it is only for people already being users of FPP.

Remember it is just a beta flash 10 version.

Unfortunatelly people have begun using the group for general discussion of FPP which is very annoying.
This should be kept at the forum so that you do not need to visit several places for info.

I still do not have permission to access the FPP forum. I applied about a week ago so I am sure the moderator will let me post there shortly.

Denis was very kind in emailing the update so I am happy to play with that for now.

It would be nice to view the google group soon as the more help I can get with this the better. As I am not a member yet I am not familiar with how it works, sorry to ask for help in joining.
