Using hotspots in Pano2VR?

I am really struggling getting hotspots into my Pano2VR tours.
Can anyone let me know of a complete guide for getting this to work?
I am creating the relevant options in the Pano2vr setup stages, making sure all the boxes are filled in (except the target option, as I don't know what to put!)
The file that it is supposed to create does not appear in my destination folder. Could this be the problem? I don't know where this goes, and there are no options for selectin gits output path...
HELP!

I suspect you are doing everything correctly.
I am using the latest Pano2VR 2.1 on WinXP with SP3.
I have been 'playing' with hotspots after reading your post - which I'd not done before. I generated both QT and Flash outputs with HTML files.
It appears that the hotspots only work after you have uploaded the output files to the webserver - they don't work by opening the files locally at least not for me with either Firefox or IE. Which is a nuisance for testing purposes before publishing to a web server
There does not seem to be any additional hotspot file created (at least not in the output folder) nor does one have to be uploaded to the webserver. I think the hotspot info/data is incorporated into the .mov and .swf files.
Hope this helps.

Hi all,
Thanks for your replies. I found out how I was going wrong, It seems you can only create hotspots using the rectangular images, not horizontal crosses as I was.
I had to convert to rectangular shape before editing the hotspots.
