Blimey, is this an ad for a Vampire's hotel? If it isn't, I can't imagine it inducing anyone to stay there. HORRIBLE! imo only

maybe soon there wont be a need to but it's good to learn if it's within means.
A gui version is in the works but not by the same author of FPP.
See flashificator.com/forums/ and see this flashpanoramas.com/forum/showthread.php?s=f296d50... for the original discussion and how it has grown. There are also sameples of how the gui will work. It quite nifty and fast with some cool functions FPP can do but i have been trying out Pano2VR a lot this week and it offers a lot too.

hi
I've been in touch with Trausti at FPP / Flashificator - says the GUI version will be ready in a couple of weeks (has a new programmer starting).
I've bought FPP and reading all the tutorials and examples, and it is a challenge (one I intend to master!). Anyone got any links to good tutorials / books / lessons on HTML script and the like. I have two weeks to intensively learn coding whilst off work - so all and any links greatfully received.
I do admire Will's FPP work (www.eyerevolution.co.uk/tours/the_edison/), and also Malcolm's work here:
www.360spin.co.uk/withington/
To those who know FPP and script, it probably looks everso straightforward, but to me, who's used to WYSIWYG Tourweaver, coding is a challenge. Is either Will's or Malcolm's coding complex, or relatively straightforward?
cheers Stu

Hi,
Much, if not all, of what FFP does can be done with Pano2VR: gardengnomesoftware.com/ I struggled with FFP so much I gave up with it then I found the skins function in Pano2VR and that was far easier for my wee brain to take in.

Peter
Have just spent 2 weeks abroad with Laptop and Pano2VR standard skins and Photoshop and started to create this:
www.360imagery.co.uk/VT/thewinery/011.swf
Although struggling with the 'map' button that disappears once pressed and when the 'hide' button is pressed. Also, teh hotspot text runs out of space. Apart from that, never realised Pano2VR could do the same as Tourweaver Pro......
Cheers for the advice Stu

the scope for '360' based domains seems to be dwindling very fast. there are so many of us with VERY similar domains these days. There were loads when I registered one of ours 3 years ago lol. I'll be taking another look at pano2vr now after this thread. We have been a TW pro user for 4 years and it has come on a lot.
