Hi, I want to ask if anybody knows about how to make standalone VR like on this site. www.3dmekanlar.com/ . The files are in exe format and it comes with its own player. I think this is a custom software and is not for sale but the quality, I mean the way that mouse moves the image is so smooth, it is much much better than java, qt or flash. May be it is not compatible with mac and linux or older versions of windows but it is still good.
I anyone has a idea about those files please let us know.

Ergec You can make one using Adobe/Macromedia Director.
I had a Director developer make a "player" that uses the .w3d files from iPIX Interactive Studio with their Format Pack and Adobe/Realviz Stitcher Unlimited.
He could have put the images and player all into one .exe file, but I wanted to be able to change the images myself so he set it up with an "External Cast" folder.
I use it for a Demo CD.
I think a Director Projector like this can also use .swf files
There's been a thread on the Realviz Stitcher forum forum.realviz.com about using VR images on a CD and one photographer has info about a Standalone Flash Player for .swf image too.
I'm not good at all with Flash, so I didn't quite get my head around what he was suggesting
Hope that helps

Many thanks Doug Aurand and fiero.
Fiero you reply is the exactly what I was looking for. Actually I prefer quicktime, and flash but I was curious about how that guy did those exe files. So now I know.
Thank you guys.
