Canon D40/D50 and NN3

I think about upgrading my Canon 350D to Canon 50D/40D.
Now I use Nodla Ninja 3. It is perfect for Canon 350D with Sigma 8mm, but I'm afraid if it is enough for 40D.
I saw Canon 40D on the list here www.nodalninja.com/camera_list.html but my question is:
Is it possible to take comfortably zenith picture with NN3 and Canon 40D with Sigma 8mm?
I'm afraid that vertical arm in NN3 is to short.

We use the 40D with a NN3. It works fine.

I use a 30D and SIGMA f/3.5 8 mm., about same size as the 40/50D, on a NN3, it’s a tight fit - but doable, have to disconnect the remote trigger though.

I can not answer your question, but you will love the upgrade to the 40D or 50D. I have the 40D and it is a great camera. Nikon's new 300D is better, but the 40D is a great camera all the same. The 50D is going to be even better if your doing a lot of indoor shooting, since the ISO is better.

I suspected this situation.
Thanks for all replies.
I consider NN5 for Canon 50D. Is it good idea to change NN3 for NN5 for Canon 50D? Is NN5 noticeble more comfortable for 50D?
