Finalizing my workflow

Hey guys,
So I am finally coming around the bend with a solid workflow that allows me to produce a decent final product. I need help however with my last couple steps. My current workflow is as follows, shooting with a Canon 10D, NN3, 8mm 3.5 Sigma.
1)Shoot images in raw, 3 set brackets 2)In CS3 edit CA, Vig, and WB (if needed) synced for all images. Maybe a bit of sharping at this point. Save as 16 bit TIFF. 3)Enfuse to blend the brackets into one set of files. 4)On the 8mm and my tripod I get a little bit of the tripod legs and head in the lower frame. I alpha mask those out along with my legs in the handheld shot and save once again as 16 bit tiff. 5)Stitch and optimize in PTgui, with smartblend. 6)CS3 -- unsharp mask. Resize to 6000 X 3000. This is where I get a little lost.
7)Open tiff pano in Pano2QTVR to create cubes so I can extract the nadir shot and repair. Should I still be saving the cubes in tiff? or JPEG? I use FPP which doesn't seem able to create a final product using tiff.
Should I save as tiff cubes, then edit the nadir, then save the cubes to JPEG in photoshop.
If that is the case, with 6 cubes what size should they be, or what should be the total amount of the image?
Basically what it comes down to is how I finish off my workflow, to preserve quality and export the best possible VT.
Thanks..

Jimmy Stick to TIFFs as long as you can. TIFF images are less prone to degradation when saving and re-saving than JPEGs. Once you have retouched the nadir why not convert back to a TIFF equirectangular and keep it for possible later use. When you are satisfied, and if you must, save a JPEG version of it for FPP. If you use Pano2VR you can turn out very good Flash panoramas directly from TIFF (equirectangulars or cube faces - and more) but perhaps not with all the features available with FPP (I think cos' I've never tried it - no free trial available, and I'm not keen on shelling out for something till I've tried it). Hi,
I also use FPP, it works only with JPG...
In my workflow i make TIFF cubes and convert them into JPG in CS2, this way I can try different compressions (use for each cube the same compression).
The size of the output file depends on your needs, I always use 10000 x 5000, I keep total size between 3 and 3,5 MB. This will give me a verry good quality output file.

Hi, Let me suggest "superrune", or "spherical to cubic", that you can use in step 6 with photoshop. That way you have a picture totaly ready for pano2qtvr/pano2vr. I think you understand if you look at: www.superrune.com/technical/software_spheretocubi... Best regards, Johan
