stitching problems

After many try's the 1st I'm little satisfied with the result. Here is a attempt of my garden home.hccnet.nl/robert.zwart/try.MOV Problem is the many stitching failures. Hoe can I avoid this?
My workserie: I shot 12 pics around two times with a Canon 40D with 10 mm lens with vista bracket www.panoramabrackets.com/, one zenit and one nadir shot, and used panopro to stich.
But when I stich there are lots of bad connections between the images? Do I make the pics with too much overlap? The nodal point is oke.
Or is it common to make so much corrections.
In my pano you see in the wooden fence a few mistakes.
Regards, Rob

Rob, Is the 10mm lens a rectilinear lens rather than a fisheye, and did you take two rows around? The Vista bracket is not designed for spherical panoramas. It does not keep the entrance pupil in a fixed position when you tilt the camera up and down to take multiple rows, or the zenith and nadir shots.

In other words you can only use this bracket to shoot a single horiziontal row.
If you wish to buy another bracket to shoot multi-row I can recommend either the Nodal Ninja 3 or 5.

Rob, as John asked, what kind of 10mm you use ? The curved horizontal lines in the QT are very strange. Matter of software?
NN3 or NN5 depends on your targets and hardware. Have Fun!

I use the Canon 10-22mm EF lens. Is that a rectiangular?
The software I used: autopano pro and pano2qtvr.
The question for me now is. Do I have to buy a fisheye like the sigma 8 mm/F3.5 or Nodal Ninja 3 mkII, or both

Canon 10-22mm is rectilinear not FE.
If you also have a 5D I suggest you get a NN5 because it will work with just about any lens and body you are likely to use for panos. The NN3 is restricted to use of shorter lenses and lighter camera bodies. The NN5 is larger and somewhat heavier.
Do you need a FE lens? Well that depends on what your goals are in terms of final resolution of spherical pano output - if you plan to create spherical panos - and how many shots you are willing/able to take of the scene. Or perhaps you are seeking to create large prints rather than to display panos on the Web?
Using a fullframe or circular FE will reduce the number of shots required to provide 360x180 coverage. There are many possible FE lenses that could be used with your 40D and 5D.
