I try to mak a a mavie with panoqtvr, but all of the results are unsharp. What are good settings to become good images.

My inputfile was 3000x1400 px. When the program is creating a movie I see several jpg compressions of 20% and later on what I selected in the settings: 100%. The results are bad.

Please some tips!

Stu, Your input file size is too small for fullscreen display. You need an equirectangular size of around 5000 to 6000 width, and a good rule of thumb is to divide the pano width by pi (3.142) to get the tile size. The quality setting needs to be adjusted according to the image contents to avoid jpeg artifacts like banding in blue sky. 70 is a typical value to use. You should have a look at this thread also: www.panoguide.com/forums/qna/4656/?page=1#msg28260

You can feed the input file directly to standalone DevalVR player to see what sharpness you have before processing in pano2qtvr.
The player can be downloaded from
