Ya know, you guys (and gals?) are the best with your support. I took you comments and went back to the hotel today to try again, www.tmhdesign.com/room.html I am very happy with the outcome. Can it be better than this? Also, in using PTGUI I am curious that if I want to say fix the dimensions so as to get the lowest size file but the best picture how to do this? I would think that a 4mb file to download on a hotel website is a bit much. When I use to use easypano I would get a decent jpg file down to about 500kb for a nice panorama?

Tom Pretty nice.
A little work with Photoshop and you could get it very nice.
As far as size, Marriott.com has a standard of 2048x1024 and 400KB or smaller for displaying at 320x240 to 400x300
Can we send you the bill for consulting services now?

Tom, Fantastic job with the windows. I see you limit the tilt and included a zenith . Those dust specs are very easy to remove in photoshop using the clone or patch tool. To use the patch tool is very easy, make sure the "source" is clicked and not "destination". Here is simple tutorial: www.quamut.com/quamut/photoshop_cs3_patch_tool

Tom, It's good to see that you have acted on all the helpful suggestions and produced a very good result. The .mov file size is 4.3MB yet the cubic tile size is only 900, (corresponding to an equirectangular size 2830x1415). For that tile size, the .mov file should only be around 400KB. Evidently you applied insufficient compression by specifying a quality setting of 100%. The amount of compression you can get away with varies according to the image contents, but 70% usually works well enough and will give you an acceptable file size.
The verticals are slightly out of true and it takes only a minute or two to level them accurately in PTGui. You can level before stitching, or if necessary you can start a new project with the finished equirectangular and level that in exactly the same way. See www.johnhpanos.com/levtut.htm .
