First Real Test
Posted: 8 Apr 2008 at 6:34 GMT
Using Deval VR, i made a little show home sample. My laptop was nice and bright but now on my main computer it looks alot darker. Anyone else?

Thanks for the help all who I've talked to and all that have posted on here (stayed up many nights, way too late).

I had a similar problem (light/dark) using two different software packages. The issue was the two programs were using diferent colourspace profiles. Perhaps you have a similar issue with your monitors.....
It might be just a simple gamma adjustement that needs tweeking.
Take a look at :

Good job with Deval by the way, I like the floorplan, and the logo overlaid.

Hi Glen Do,

Nice tour you have there, I'm sure the customers will get a good idea on the property without the trouble of getting there so it saves time and of course would make a difference compared to a house without a tour.

You have stitching errors on the nadir and blue windows.
I have this problem too and for me it is unsatisfying the time consuming compromise I do (try enfuse with different exposures); heard about tufuse maybe I will learn it.
And I personally don't like seeing a pano without a full screen option.

As a quick advice, in mixed light, just take the pictures for daylight and make an effort to adapt the interior.

regards,
Valentin

Thanks, my nadar is completly photoshoped in, it usually goes faster that way as opposed to correcting the colors on a nadar shot. i do have problems with some stitches, some walls get misaligned ever so slightly and floor tiles seem to be the hardest to stitch or photoshop.

have not experimented with ptstitcher / interpolarconfusedinc 256 as someone suggested before. would anyone know if this would help?

currently using johns method of masking originals + ptgui + smartblend.

as for fullscreen, you can resize the window, but i will keep that in mind for the next one, thanks.

thanks
