Posterization in HDR Ptgui

I've just started experimenting with HDR panoramas using Ptgui Pro. In the brighter areas (near the sun), I get this posterization effect that's rather nasty. This panorama was taken with 3 bracketed images for each shot, separated by 2 stops.
Can this be fixed within Ptgui?

not sure about PTGui's inbuilt HDR support but Photomatix sure can fix this.

I got the same results with PTGui Pro trial. =(
I was hoping the HDR is as good or better than Photomatix to significantly reduce my workflow.
I'm hoping the next or future updates will fix it.
