how to shot panoramic image - NOT 360 PANO

want to capture wide panoramic image with still lense i have
12x24 nikkor wide 18x70 nikkor
i dont know how to shoot them logically/technically with my nodal ninja3 to achieve good panoramic wide still shot.
can anyone guide me about system/method ? do this need to maintain nodal point like we do in fisheye lense ?
please guide.

Yes, whatever lens you use, it is important to maintain the position of the entrance pupil (rather than the nodal point). It's less important for landscape scenes where everything is far away, but very important when there are near features as in indoor panoramas. For setup positions, you may find details for your camera and lenses on the Nodal Ninja web site. Otherwise, follow the instructions at homepage.ntlworld.com/j.houghton/epcalib.htm

Hi, if you use NN3 you might have different settings for upper arm of NN3 at different focal lenght (different zoom) for the same lens
I guess by 18x70 you mean a zoom lens with focal length from 18 to 70 mm.
