I am having difficulties in editing panoramas made with PtGui. When I try to edit the panoramas with photoshop's brush tool, nothing happens. I have tried a lot of things, redone the panorama, tried to select various settings within the brush tool, but nothing works... Anyone knows what could be the problem? keep up Johnson

Hi Will
I'm sure that there is a little thing that is pressed or unpressed...
make sure if the layer is not locked for editing or if the layer you want to edit is the active one (click one it before you try to edit).
check the opacity, the mode and the Flow settings of the brush.
Regards, Aris

brush is used for different tools, I assume that you pressed brush, nothing else, brush is used to color the layer (colors are the squars) or a mask (mask is usually black and white thumb on the right of the thumb of a layer) I use colors black to clear or white to show up the layer under the mask, if there is no mask you first need to create it, check the value of the brush and opacity of the brush, also another layer could be on the top of the one you edit
this is very hard to say what is wrong, you gave little description, a screenshot could help

It looks oke. What happens when you turn off the other layers? A good trick if the difference is small between the layers is to invert the colors (CRTL+i) in the image, then brush on the mask to reveal the part you want to make visible. And when done simply invert back. Hope this helps

The screen shot shows you are editing the mask on image 2. The foreground colour is white and you can see in the mask thumbnail that you have made some changes because there are two white areas. You won't necessarily see any change on the main image since you are simply making part of layer 2 visible and there is already image data present in the same area in the blended panorama. If you press the backslash key, you should see a red overlay corresponding to the black parts of the mask. If you switch off all the other layers, you should see the parts of the image made visible by the white spots painted in the mask.
