Stitch-Fisheye Program 1.0 Question?
Posted: 4 Jul 2007 at 13:58 GMT

Hello all,
I have built three tours for clients using the demo version of the Stitch-Fisheye Version 1.0, which features several watermarks. The official site is no longer functional and does not offer support. Does any know how I can get rid of these watermarks? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Best Regards, Brandon

There payment processing is down and has been down for days. When I downloaded the demo version and built my tours the payment page was up for this program. Bad Luck...

You can buy the licence from me, I bought it because they promised to release a 3 fisheye version, but they never did, so I have no use for it. Please email me if you are interested at my username @yahoo.dk

panograf,
If you need 3 fisheye image stitching, you can try Panoweaver, both 4.0 and 5.0 version can stitch 2 and 3 fisheyes.

Thanks for your reply. What don't you like about Stitch-Fisheye? I have used there demo version and have found it puts out nice 360 image with 2 fisheye shots (FC-E9 taken with Coolpix 5700). I used to work for a company that used ipix and am trying to find an affordable, easy to use, replacement. Not a fan of ipix.
I have aslo tried PTGUI without success.

yeah, I am not happy because of 1. they posted me the "demo" version of smart viewer and I cannot change some letters on virtual tour ( Help & Description menu ) even I paid ... 2. the stitcher is not stitching %95 with nikon coolpix 5000 + Fc-E8 + Agnos MrotatorA + manfrotto prob 055. 3. they dont answer my e-mails . 4. now I started to take 3 pictures for the virtual tours but on their page is still writing that they will have free upgrade "soon" ( WRITTEN more than 1 year ) :P

Thanks for the reply.
I wouldn't count on getting that 3 shot program upgrade from Stitch-Fisheye anytime soon. I tried buying their software weeks ago from their site with no luck. Finally, got an email back from the owner who offered me the entire web site. Unfortunately I was in the market for one stich fisheye program, not an entire site, with probable pending litigation. He also mentioned something about the sites hosting expiring soon... So it appears that another simple stitching program has bit the dust.
I have personally broken down and started uding IPIX. I could not find a simpler solution for a 2 fisheye stitch process using a Nikon CP5700, FC-E9, with Agnos Mrotator
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi, Please read this www.panoguide.com/forums/qna/3200/
was initiated by someone that has only two fisheye that turned out that can be stitched with PTGui or with the free Hugin still as John reccomend there, three shoots instead of two make the stitch more easy.

Stitching 3 images instead of 2 has significant advantages whatever stitching software is used and adds little to the shooting time. The very much bigger overlap means image alignment is far more reliable and accurate. With a template and automatic control point assignment, PTGui will stitch the images with ease.

I use an FC-E9 with an 8800 for real estate work and any increase on two shots will give you a marked improvement in quality as the FC-E9 is incredibly soft, especially around the edges - I typically do six around.
