Ptgui 7 beta is out

For those not following the panotools group ptgui 7 is out.
www.ptgui.com for more info.
***************
What's new? There's now a Pro version of PTGui, enabling the creation of HDR panoramas! For an overview, see HDR Panoramas with PTGui Pro.
We have also added important new features and bug fixes to the regular version of PTGui:
* Version 7.0.0beta1 (11 May 2007) o New output projections have been added (fisheye, mercator and transverse projections) o PTGui can now stitch straight to QTVR format o QTVR convertor (Utilities menu) to convert equirectangular panoramas to QTVR o EXIF output: PTGui now writes the original shooting date and exposure data into the EXIF header of generated TIFF and JPEG files. For rectilinear output, the focal length is included as well. o Control point generator has been improved: detection is more sensitive, and control points are fine tuned more accurately, especially when there are brightness differences between source images o Control Point generator now uses less memory. Should now allow control point generation for hundreds of images simultaneously o Added a warning when starting a project with images in different orientations or aspect ratios o Thumbnails of zenith and nadir image in Project Assistant are now shown in the same rotation as the other images (they used to be rotated according to the roll value, which doesn't have any meaning for nadir or zenith) o Control Point Editor: optionally shows information about the pixel under the mouse cursor in the statusbar o Mac: 'new instance' menu item in File menu. This launches a new PTGui window, a workaround for the fact that PTGui is not a true multiple document application. o Added keyboard shortcut for Batch Stitcher o Fix: artifacts in panorama editor and stitched panoramas (small clusters of pixels in transparent areas) o Fix: Stitching to large JPEG output would cause 'Could not create temp file' errors, in particular on Windows Vista.
PTGui Pro: o Stitching and blending of HDR images o Supported HDR file formats: 32 bit TIFF, PSD, PSB, OpenEXR and .hdr files o Combining multiple LDR exposures into HDR output o Built in tone mapper o Source images can be linked, effectively treating them as a single image. This is useful for bracketed exposures, taken with a tripod.

Well if it offered more than just HDR it would be great but there is a lot of other HDR tools some eveb freeware(don't know how good the PTGUI one is) and probably better. but hopefully I am wrong and PTgui shuts my mouth and makes 50 EUR seem like nothing for what it offers!
But I do have to agree there is no better software for stitching.

i've tried it out today with amost 7 bracket 49 files stitching with ptGUi pro and the result i got is far better than using ptGUI 6.0.3 and then HDR software. time calculation comes to almost 3 times less than manual hdring.
i am evaluating more.

Yes, PTGui has been able to stitch fisheye images since Version 1 in 2001. However, you do need to supplement PTGui with a revised version of the Panorama Tools library file pano12.dll that enables the extra wide angle lens capability (from photocreations.ca/panotools ).

I have tried hdr function in a trial version and I have a problem. On the hdr preview it looks nice but after creating panorama the result is completely worthless. Jan
