Somewhere I remember reading an article about why panoramas were better than online video tours...downloading times, etc...I cant seem to find that article. Does it ring a bell to anyone?
Does anyone have any opinions on why, is so are panoramic tours better than pnline video tours?

Video tours aren't as interactive as pano tours, you just watch a video tour, but pano tours give the user the ability to control the experience.

I think each has it's own uses, as do static images.
A good tour (as a multimedia experience) would probably consist of all 3 formats: pano, video, stills, and interactive maps. This would work for vacation or museum type stuff.
For real estate, panos and stills are best (unless there's a particular feature that the video can showcase, such as a sliding atrium over a pool).
I know this is a pano forum, but I don't think taking panos just because that's what we do, is always the correct action either. If a shot has a rather ugly backside (behind the camera), stills might be better, or a "half pano".
