Any big diference betweeen D70 and D80?

Hello,
I'm planning on buying the following equipment:
360 Precision Head + Nikon 10.5mm Fisheye Lenses + [D70 or D80?]
I would like to know if there's any big difference between the D70 and the D80 for shooting fisheye sphericals??
I'm not planning on printing panos, but who knows...?! Will the aprox 4 MegaPixel difference between both cameras make a big difference on printings??
And one last questions: is there a 360 Precision "Absoulute" for the D80 + 10.5mm yet? or I would have to get the "Adjuste"?
I would appreciate any help...

Hi Rim,
I was in the same boat a few months ago.
Most will likely suggest that you get the D80 for a host of reasons.
I, however, decided to get the D70s kit. I applied the difference to purchasing the other equipment I needed such as the agnos panohead, Sigma 8mm f/3.5 lens, hard case, tripod, etc.
Another reason I got the D70s is because I already have a D70. So, I didn't have to read another manual. =)
No regrets. YMMV.

Hi Richard,
There's a very noticable difference between the quality of the panoramas you can produce with the D80 compared to the D70. If you're wanting to produce sharp fullscreen panoramas (1600x1200 or above) then you will find the resolution of the D70 lacking. The D80 on the otherhand is almost the perfect camera for this type of work.
And yes, we've shipped dozens of D80/10.5 Absolue heads.
