seam problem after convert pano into QTVR file.

hi all experts:

need some help here...my pano has seam problem after converting it into qtvr. anybody knows how to solve this problem ?

The seam is most probably present in the file. I'd correct it by opening in photoshop

filter->offset

'wrap around'
offset 1000px (or 1/2 your image width)

then youll see the seam in the centre of the image and you can just clone it out.

can i do the offset filter if my file is psd with layer?

i m using ptgui ... can i do it in ptgui ?

The offset filter affects only the currently selected layer in a PSD file.

In PTGui you can achieve the same effect using the numerical transform option in the Panorama Editor window. Enter the desired shift in the yaw field and click on apply. All the images will be shifted by the same amount. Repeat to shift a further amount. A shift of 180 degrees was suggested by Stu.

I think if you lock all the layers together in the layers palette the offset will work on all together at once smile

D'oh, actually it appears not to work like that smile IF you want to do it in PShop just record the action on 1 layer and assign a hotkey - just repeat it to all layers, it will be faster than re-stitching.

Repeating the offset for each layer can be done with ctrl/f (last filter).
