Real flash output is finally here

3d vista have finally released vista show 2 with full spherical/cubic flash output. Unfortunately though it will always be branded in some form with 3d vista and so not good for professionals. Sort this out 3d vista and you will have me and i presume many more as a customer! www.3dvista.com

Hmm very first immpressions looking at the website
in firefox with flash 7 installed it just stalls at the loading viewer stage. No asking me to update flash or anything just stuck.
No quicktime samples from show, will it now include floorplans or will you have to use a java wrapper or just have bare quicktime movies with no extras. It says how will export quicktime and if you can export the same tour as quicktime and java with radar effects etc it will be great but I have my doubts..
Price says 249 euros but click on purchase and it comes up as 449 euros by paypal?
Still haven't actually tried the demo yet so we will see. Flash in internet explorer with flash 8 does seem to work though so well done there, no interior examples though which will be more challenging than the great outdoors.

I agree with rudders.
Remove the 3DVista branding and I too will buy it asap! Other providers I'm sure will follow suit.

Hi Jose,
Brilliant work on the CubicVR flash.
Are you planning to have publisher? output cubicVR flash files without any extra stuff. ie just an SWF for those who don't want the 'Show' stuff?
And will we be able to batch output to basic CubicVR flash? Both very important to working Pro's.
Thanks,
Aaron.

Hello,
Not sure abut Flash 7 and Firefox, but I guess is something related to the autoupdating of Flash plugin itself, so I am not sure if we can fix it from our side. We´ll give it a look in any case.
The QTVR exporting option will create plain MOV files (and optional html file), since most of our users just use the MOV to include it on their pages.
There is actually a sample of indoor panoramas in our samples page. Just click on the right top sample (Alhambra one) to see some of them. The panoramas were taken 5 years ago though, so they are not the best. We will continue adding new samples in flash during the next weeks, outdoors and indoors.
As you may have noticed, our new website has been just released and it´s still not 100% complete, and some typos can probably be found there. The price listed in SHOW during the weekend was actually the old one 249€ as you said. Sorry about that. In compensation for this mistake we are happy to provide with private branded viewers to all those customers who buy SHOW or any Pack during this week and email us with the subject "Free Private Branding PG" .
Regards, 3DVista Team

Hello Aaron, we are definitely moving to "Batch versions" of our software now, so we will definitely give a thought to your SWF batch idea. This new version of SHOW includes Skin Editor for free, so it will allow you to create "empty Skins", that would remove a big part of the "SHOW stuff" as you call it . We are in any case including for the final version (notice that still is in beta) an empty skin on the library of Skins that come with SHOW . I hope this helps until we can release a Batch

Hi Jose,
What's the general cost for the products in US dollars? For co-branding, private branding, & full branding.
Can one use custom skins? Bigger size viewer window?

Hi Eagle,
Co-branding is now free in SHOW. It just shows a little line at the bottom saying "powered by 3dvista.com". To remove this line (Private Branding) is now only 99€ ($99 if you purchase it from USA or Canada). Full branding (Private Portal and Private branding) is still not available (new Vistatour 2 still on development) but will also get much affordable than before. Around 500€.
