Test and advice needed??? Please...
Posted: 14 Feb 2006 at 14:05 GMT
Hi all,

Just can't seem to figure why this link works on 2 seperate mac's and a pc running xp but no joy with several other machines, fullscreen seems to be the problem child....any thoughts?

Much thanks and look forward to getting some new images up soon, not enough hours at the moment!

Did all machines have QuickTime installed?

I can see the 56K versions of the panos ok but the broadband links don't work. However, I can see a fullscreen movie via a link such as:

I tested your fullscreen shots last night and had no problem using Internet Explorer and Quicktime Pro 6.5.2

Hmm I too am using internet exporer with Quicktime 6.5.2 but see nothing but a white screen. I am using Service pack 1 if that makes some sort of difference.
Good luck

Dylan,

They all work for me and I'm using Windows XP Service pack 2, I.E and QT Pro 6.5.2

Windy,

I see you have "borrowed" somebody else's code!
You should replace it with this and see if it helps you on cross browsers and platforms.

<object classid="clsid:02BF25D5-8C17-4B23-BC80-D3488ABDDC6B"
width="100%"
height="100%"
codebase="www.apple.com/qtactivex/qtplugin.cab">
<param name="scale" value="tofit">
<param name="controller" value="true">
<param name="cache" value="false">
<param name="bgcolor" value="#000000">
<param name="kioskmode" value="true">
<param name="src" value="media/Atfieldlounge.mov">
<embed src="media/Atfieldlounge.mov"
width="100%"
height="100%"
type="video/quicktime"
controller="true"
cache="false"
scale="tofit"
kioskmode="true"
pluginspage="www.apple.com/quicktime/download/"
bgcolor="#000000"'>
</embed>
</object>

You will have to fix the quicktime links in the code as the forum screws them up!
