I have a nikon coolpix 5400 with a fisheye lens, but the lens blocks the built in flash. I intend to shoot indoor panoramas so i need an external flash, however i can't spend more than US$150. Can someone recomend me one? Do I need to look for an especial kind of flash if i'm using a fisheye lens? I'de appreciate any help.

Dont use flash as is many cases it will look very odd. just use decent lighting in the area your shooting and long exposure if neccessary.

Take 3 shots with bracketing and use Easybracketing for photoshop - no light problems anymore - price roundabout EUR 100 / USD 120 !!!

Bracketing is where you take say three pictures, one under exposed, one correctly exposed and one over exposed. It gives a better range of frames to work with such as cutting and pasting for correct exposures of scenes through windows etc. Remember if using flash it will only travel about 3 metres.

Yes, a Flash will just give you uneven exposures and make the images very hard to stitch. With a tripod you can use longer times instead.

I'm trying to make a panorama of the inside of my car... that is less than 3 meters, do you think that in this case i can use a flash, or is it better to do the bracketing thing? I tried without flash but i couldn“t get very good detail of the dashboard... any other advise?
