Blurry edges on 1 shot

I take it this is not normal. What would i need to adjust on my camera settings? I'm using a Nikon 8700 with a Kaiden lens

Arthur,
Many one shot systems with a vertical field of view greaterthan 90 degrees will produce "soft" edges or center spots. To get the entire mirror in sharp focus is not possible with some camera/mirror combinations. While it is possible to maximize any particular combination with the right settings to see how bad your issue is, post a sample.

I left some tips in the Tips & Tricks a while back on this. I get the best results by opening the IRIS as much as possible (athough this can wash the sky of color) and focusing on the most distant object.
