I agree with rudders keep your eyes pealed it will hopefully be before Xmas if not very shortly afterwards.
Also better use of floorplans (or should i say multi floorplans) and radar effects, larger choice of output formats and a animated hotspots.

Thats right fully immersive flash panos, although we are still beta testing the new program (version beta 2)all is looking very good with only a few minor bugs to sort out befor release. the new software will also make better use of floor plans and the rada effect you get with tourweaver. We are also working on some new floor plan software that is ideal for the use of Virtual Tours easy to use and produces very nice 3d floor plans. has soon i can i can tell you all more i will be posting the details here.
Best Regards
Jonpaul

Judging on purely circumstantial evidence of his posts I would say affilitated with 3dvista. Could be anybody though.
Wonder if this will work with older flash or just takes advantage of the new version 8?

Sorry Guy i am not at liberty to say to much about the company of this program, just replying to org post from Robin. The ability to produce fully immersive flash panos as long been a much needed soloution to a lot of us in the VR world. We have been soly asked to beta test the new program all i am trying to say is the wait is nearly over. I use a lot of Virtual Tour software from 3DVista, Easypano Realviz and many others and can honestly say thay all have their own merits and are all missing key elements that make any of them truly all round soultions. This new program seems to address all the missing elements. Just how the finished product will shape up with some of you high demanding VR photograpers time will tell. as i said earlier i will ensure you guys will be the first to know once we have been given the final release date.
Very best regards
Jonpaul.

The Sony site uses video fly-throughs generated from 3D modelling - there's no panoramic stuff in it, although it's a great bit of interface design.

the main advantage-as i see it- is the fact that we can install the flashplayer-plugin also in restricted user-account(benutzer mit eingeschränkten rechten in german): but only Iexplorer not firefox. devalvr must have a main-user-account, qtvr adminstrator-rights. but there seem to be troubles with older videocards when using shockwave. if someone could post links to shockwave-flashplayer-panoramas i would like to test.
