After viewing this on another monitor, something looks "fake" or off somehow, maybe i should darken the outside view?
Maybe ive been sitting in front of a computer too long :P

Hi Dylan,

that pano looks very good to me. It is crisp with good dynamic range. The outside balance is fine.

My only sugestion would be to get some decent wine to put on the table.

Have you got your 10.5mm yet>

Ha! No 10.5 for me yet, Doh! Although if all goes well I should have one soon. I just viewed the pano on my friends MAC and it looked weird, seems fine on my monitor.

To me, the scene through the windows looks too dark. The the contrast between the dazzlingly bright smaller window and the others is puzzling. Maybe the large windows are be fitted with tinted glass.

To me the pano looks too computer generated as if photography was not invovled at all. As said previously the outside should be brighter somewhat.

Dylan,

I think it looks great. Nice blending with the exterior exposure. well done. Looks like a place I'd like to be right now!

I think it looks great. There's just one window that way brighter than the others though.

Hey - I'm on a Mac and it looks just great. Surely contrast, exposure etc is down to personal preference?

Nowt wrong with this pano IMHO - looks very nice smile

Hmm thanks redeye, nice to hear its good on your MAC. Ill leave it alone and if the client says anything ill know what to do, I agreed with the other poster that it looked too computer generated, but on my monitor it looks nice, maybe a tad sureal.

G'day Dylan,
Thanks for your help in the past. I think you have done an excellent job to cover such a wide dynamic range and still look believable. The problem is even our own eyes can't see that range in one scene so it starts to look false even 'cartoon' like. If you want to show off an interior and a scene I can't see an other option for a full pano and I'm sure if I were the client I would be very happy. My only suggestions are that I would perhaps start the pano facing the view taking in the wine bottles and darken the bright blind on the left of the main wall. Could you give some info on how you covered such a HDR did you cut and paste or use bracketed exposure.

Regards,

Morten

Thanks Morten, well i shot the interior at F11 at 1/4 sec and shot the exterior at F11 at 125 sec and just blended them together with photoshop.Ive darkened the scene indoors to make it more natural, im going to try a bright one again. Funny you should mention the starting point. I actually rendered with that position as a start and it does, but when i export as cubic the six sides, to drop in logo and render the qtvr again it changes the start point on me,weird. Ive been meaning to look into that.
