Cannon EF 8-15mm, advice

I have to shoot a series of interior panos. I am using the NN4 and a Canon 5dmarkIII and the new 8-15mm. I need to produce commercial quality panos (very good but not perfect) for the web. Any thoughts which would be better to use 8 or 15mm or something in between? Also, I can find the NPP point if I have to but if anybody has the cliff notes, I will buy you a beer!

Sorry if this has been hashed out already, I read a few threads butthey all seemed closed out.

Thanks in advance for your help!

The 12mm zoom setting gives you a full 180° vertical fov and should yield a maximum size equirectangular panorama close to 11000x5500, which should be perfectly adequate. Obviously you should do your own tests at home to see which setting works best for you.

Hi Chris,
I am using 5Dm2 with Canon 8-15 on a NN5...I think on NN4 the values will change but if you want have a look at my NPP settings, see;
www.panoguide.com/forums/tipsntricks/10613/

8 mm gives quite a low resolution (approx. 7200x3600 pix. if I remember correctly)...15 means approx. 14600x7300 pix. but you'll need to shoot 6 around + 1 zenith(at least) and 1 nadir...I shoot at 12 mm which gives me a pano of approx. 10700x5350, your camera sensor has a little more pix...12 mm means 4 shots around and 1 nadir, have a look at its results (panos reduced to 10000x5000 pix.):
