Spherical Lens?
Posted: 4 Dec 2012 at 20:45 GMT
Hey Panoguiders,

Quick question, I was looking for a lens that consists of two or three fisheye lenses and shoots an entire scene in a single shot - basically transferring the fisheye images down to a single film back? I swear I've seen this before but I can't for the life of me locate it.

Does anyone remember seeing this? A few years ago it wouldn't make sense but now cameras offer such high resolution that it might be a viable option for.

Any memories/insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Raphael

Probably www.girocam.com/

While their ideas and initial specs sounded good, the vivible results were very disappointing. They now seem to be out of business.
