Hi I am new to the forum and wanted to gain some opinions on the suitability of my camera for this type of work. My camera is the Fuji x pro1.
Thanks
Steve

G'day Steve,
Mate, you can use just about any camera for making a panorama. The X Pro1's limitation looks to be lens choice. The wider the lens the less amount of images required. Though this comes at the expense of resolution.
If you want to shoot with the X Pro1 you certainly can. You will require a panohead and to be able to find the NPP (No Parallax Position). You'll need around 20 to 30% overlap.
If it is possible to find a fisheye lens to suit the X Pro1's lens mount this would reduce the work flow considerably.

Hi
Thanks for coming back to me. I have a Nodal Ninja pano head and I glad the 8 mm has been mentioned as I have been looking at the Samyang 8mm F2.8 for X-mount. I am however struggling to find a UK stockist. May need to buy from Japan. I have been photographing for years but this panorama genre is a complete new ball game. Really enjoying learning the techniques involved.
Thanks again
Steve
