Surprisingly I'm not and never going to be a member of Facebook. I doubt I'm the only one?

Nothing wrong with the incentive outside of that. Sorry can't add my voice.

A better thrust would be to prod Sony to put better bracketing on their sensor hardware and firmware. That's where Nikon sensors are from anyway and logic tells me that the Nikon firmware for those sensors are derived from Sony firmware.

While you're at it, tell Sony to put better bracketing hardware and firmware on the NEX system cameras. They are cheaper and simpler and as said, are the source of many Nikon sensors.

Actually Sony is the only one that has done that after a community respons. They published a new firmware for the Nex7 a month ago with bracketing up to 3 EV

The D800 does up to 9 exposures. Not much of an incentive for Nikon to change the exposure step. I would like to see 2 steps but am not holding my breath.

The NEX does only 3 pictures with each set. Getting the right set is harder with 3 pictures instead of 9. Whenever I do bracketing, I shoot 9 and delete the ones I do not use. I would have preferred Sony to provide for more images rather than wider steps. I suppose if you shoot RAW you can shoot 3 and extract the other exposures.

Don't worry Smooth. The good thing about individual initiatives on social networks is that also those will benefit who prefer not to participate.
