Is it possible to do a tour with just a camera?
Posted: 24 Aug 2005 at 18:58 GMT
I have an Olympus C-3000. I have shot the flat type panorama/virtual tours where it is just basically a picture that scrolls and you can pan and zoom... but no sky and no ground in the virtual tour.

I am looking for an example (if it is possible) to make multi-row tours from my current camera and doing it handheld.

So what I'd like to see is if it is possible to use just me and my camera to successfully get a tour that includes the ceiling and floor... and if it is possible, if someone has an example that I could see all the shots used to compose the tour... make sense?

I was looking for a fish-eye lens for my Olympus C-3000, thinking that would help.. but didn't find anything like that.

Try using a tripod and rotator (essential for sharp accurate virtual images) and get realviz stitcher. no lens required & can do fully immersive virtual images.

Try iLOOKabout's PanoStitching Wizard for a handheld panoramic solution. Below is a link to download the wizard...
