I can't see either panoramas from Mars made by Hans curently only in qtvr, as I don't have qtvr on this machine, I saw them before.
Also I posted to Hans here, I belive, that krpano can have .mov as file source for a panorama and is not difficult to add the flash/idevices variant for those panoramas too. Only some script is needed.
I'll happy to offer my help in this. Is expected that due to current Curiosity mission also the previous Mars panoramas to have great interes.
@Michael I think two camera combo like mine might have been used for the rover 3D, though can be done with cha-cha as well. That partial pan I made from a single anaglyph image.
cheers, Dorin

Hi guys
is any of you the author of the curiosity's panorama from this link? www.360pano.eu/show/?id=731
if so, could you answer a couple of questions?
How did you include the sky? There aren't any pictures in the curiosity's raw repository from the sky but three images from the sun with a black background.
How did you manage to include all the black areas from the 360º image issued by NASA?
Did you use this NASA's processed image?
Well, finally they were three questions. Thank you in advance. Regards

Hi,
Usually the sky is fake, also the nadir could be patched using some photos of the twin rover (from the JPL lab on Earth)
cheers, Dorin

I believe Andrew used the Raw images and stitched it himself. I have wanted to do it but have not had time for it.

Now its loading, very quickly. fantastic colors. thanks hans. mastcam 34 uses color, navcam. also on the mast, shoots b+w, pan and 3d. twin-wise mounted left and right of the mastcam. only one working at the same time. where are they sitting exactly and how big is their base? 15/f12 lens. maybe the same navcams like on spirit/opportunity. 20cm base. www.radiantzemax.com/kb-en/Knowledgebase/The-Mars...

Yes, sky and some other broken parts is fake. Think this small corrections give a better picture for perception.
