Panotour pro templates

Does anyone know where I can find templates for Panotour Pro? I am hoping there is somewhere that offers many more to choose from than the ones that ship with the software. Are there video tutorials for modifying these templates anywhere? Advice for customizing my tours to match different website designs is appreciated. Thanks

I am not aware of any such resource.

My understanding is that the template and theme 'structure' will change with the release of version 2 later this year.

Thank you for confirming. I came to the same conclusions after searching everywhere. I would have thought there would be someone creating and selling template packs but I haven't seen anything like that. I did read the related documentation. It looks like I'll be outsourcing hand-coding to my brother-in-law.
Hopefully v2 provides options for customizing in the gui and/or with plug-ins. A better template library and video tutorials for modifying everything would have surely helped in the absence of those features (it would actually be nice even if those feature do become available).

Currently this is one of the advantages with Pano2VR with template sellers and video tutorials. Similar is true of Easypano Tourweaver.
That said, making your own graphics and editing the .xml file to your liking is something that isn't all that hard.

What good is it to have a GUI, if one needs to do hand-coding for common things such as the individual design of a tour?
That is the question I asked myself a long time ago, and that is why Flashificator is the most versatile panorama software GUI in the world.
Proof of that is found by visiting the link in my signature.

Trausi: You saying how good your own product is, has started getting rather boring dont you think.
There is little doubt the results it produces can be good but many who have tried Flashificator have found it very difficult to use. In my case, you having outdated templates that did not work for download on your site said a lot.
Flashificator may be versatile, but simple or the best Gui is just not so.
IMHO at this time Pano2vr takes some beating at the price, it has loads of templates available, the tutorials are easy to understand and it does html5 out of the box.

Still the truth. If you know of any other gui that is as versatile, you are welcome to mention it.
The proof for my statement is seen in the works of those who use the software. Plain and simple... regardless if it irritates people to be reminded of it or not.

A template for a KRpano/Panotour tour is just a simple textfile. You can use your text edit on mac or notepad on windows or there are a lot of special xml editors.
Dreamweaver or Golive will also work .

Hi! JdT...
I use Dreamweaver for modificate the original template of PanoTour Pro. It's importante to change the title tag <title> for SEO strategies.
I include the Like Button of Facebook inside and the tracking code of Google Analytics. It's simple! But you need note that if you need to export again, from PanoTour Pro, this modification disapair. You need to have a backup when you need reexport, or create your own template...
Look my result here: www.mariocarvajal.com/360/cano-cristales/

I would recommend as some others have and suggest that you use an editor to customize the tours for a specific website. Designing a virtual tour in Panotour is quick and relatively simple unless your creating quite a few tours at a given time. I do commercial tours and my philosophy is that I want to give my clients what fits best for them and templates can often times lead to lack of creativity. I would cite some management academic journals here but I don't want to bore.
