one shot lenses

I'm looking for a lens that takes a panorama in one shot that I can then use in a java or quicktime tour. Could you seasoned photographers direct me to different lenses and products. I've played with a friends EGG lens and software, but they don't convert to java or qt.
Thanks

I haven't considered the 0-360 lens b/c I didn't know about it. The only lens I'm aware of is the EGG lens and software. I'll check out their web site. Do other companies make such a lens. I'd like to be informed of all options before I put down what for me is a large chunk of money.
Can you or others let me know what other options, if any, I have.
Thanks

I would steer clear of any product that will only output the panorama image in a proprietry format (as seems to be the case with the Egg). It can very much reduce the postprocessing possibilities for making minor corections.

The 0-360.com One Shot is the best one shot based on the money outlaid. Kaidan's version would be second on the list. Both allow you to shoot in any format you choose (including RAW) and both offer software to convert to either Java or Quicktime.
The software is better with the Kaidan, the lens is better with the 0-360. The price is better with the 0-360 and the lens/mirror is glass not plastic.
Either way you will make very average panorama's quite fast with either. Great if you charge $50.00 for 10 panorama's like the US Real Estate market!!!!
Don't expect a Porsche - you are buying a Skoda.

I looked at your website. Nice work. I was wondering what type of camera and software you use?

one shot lenses only produce 'panoramic' images not fully immersive virtual images, which are now the industry standard. They are good for personal use but NOT for commercial use. You lose up to 60% of the possible image with a panoramic and by now everyone should be producing fully immersive images for commercial applications. There are now SO many VT producers now that it is essential to be at the top of the game.
