Compact monopod with small footprint?

Hello, I'm looking for a compact monopod with a small footprint. I currently have the Velbon Ultra Stick L50 but it has a 44mm diameter base which is much larger than my 31mm diameter panohead. I can use a spigot to get the monopod out of my nadir, but I don't like using them.
Does anyone know of another monopod of similar size and weight with a smaller footprint?
The L50 is only 300g and min length is 37cm. Velbon makes a RUP-L40 which looks like the perfect footprint but it's too long and heavy. The M40 looks about right but I can't find the diameter of the base.

I found two that looks good on specs. The manfrotto is lighter but has flip locks. I prefer the twist lock on the Cullmann but it's heavier.
I may try using my hiking poles instead, they have screw mounts on top, but it only goes up to 50". I would need to use a manfrotto 259b tube extension but I sold mine last month with my old Nikon p6000 and FC-E8. Wish I hadn't parted with the tube.... THe only issue is that after all the hiking, the pole might not be so straight, and adding the extension tube may not make it completely level.
Manfrotto MMC3-01 Maximum Height 57.2" (145.5 cm) Minimum Height 15.35" (39 cm) Folded Length 15.35" (39 cm) Load Capacity 3.31 lb (1.5 kg) Leg Sections 5 Leg Lock Type Flip lever Male Thread Size 1/4"-20 Weight 0.64 lb (0.29 kg) www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/755442-REG/Manfrot...
Cullmann 2741 Maximum Height 56" Head Type 1/4" thread connecting stud on top Closed Length 16" Load Capacity 5.5 lbs / 2.5 kg Weight 0.79 lb / 360 g Leg Sections Five (5) segment leg locks with one twist

Are there other hiking poles with camera mounts that are as compact but can extend longer than 51"?
