Just saw a story about a company in the UK, Keith Prowse, using virtual tours to sell their sports and cultural packages
The couple I looked at are cylindrical, but the locations are high profile.
Might help commerical virtual tour providers trying to sell their work in the UK

Yes, the vertically limited pano's seem to work in these venues. The pano's seem to be 'added value' to an already established event companys website.
I just wished that the pano's matched the high quality event caterer work. High quality venue requires high quality photography. Pano's seemed to be stitched correctly however the photographer could have improved their work by taking the time to properly white balance and sharpen the imaging.
Yes, I did look through the sampling at various locations.
