Hello members,

I am planning to buy panotour pro
and my main aim is to run this the tours on ipad.

but i need little help about setup.

One of my friend recently purchased the panotour pro
and now the issue is when he is running the tour on web (pc) it is working file.but while running it on ipad we are getting one watermark in the middle with the error "demo version".

but as told on some forums we put the krpanoiphone.js into the swfobject folder but still its not working.

Please guide if any of you know the process.

Thanks

If he bought the panotour Pro the js license is included .
With KRPano you can supply the license in 2 ways.

1. Automaticaly embedded into the tour.js file
2. As a separate copy of your krpanoiphone.license.js

In my KRpano tools config file the options are this.
# copylicense
# - copy the krpano.license to the output folder
# - copy the krpanoiphone.license.js to the output folder
#
copylicense=true

# embedlicenses
# - builds a new .swf file with an embedded krpano.license
# - builds a new .js file with an embedded the krpano.license.js (if available)
# - when this setting is enabled then the copy* settings don't have an effect anymore
#
embedlicenses=true

I assume that your Panotour has the same options somewhere.
You need of course to have the original krpanoiphone.license.js in your source folder together with the normal krpano.license
If you do not have that you will get the demo watermark.

From the Panotour Pro dokumentation
www.autopano.net/wiki-en/action/view/Panotour_Pro...

"This feature is only available to registered users."

Sounds rather weird to me as you buy the Panotour Pro with the license for HTML5 devices.
If they demand you to register the software for this they should make this clearly pointed out when you buy it.

the krpanoiphone.js is the actual viewer.
You need the license to make it work without watermark.

Same as the flashviewer krpano.swf also needs the krpano.license.

May I suggest you ask questions about Panotour Pro on the Kolor forum because you are more likely to get answers from Panotour Pro users there. There sia topic dedicated to the use of Panotour and Panotour Pro

www.kolor.com/forum/

However the basic process is to use the generic HTML template when building the tour using Panotour Pro and directing the output to a new folder and then upload all the contents of that folder to your Web server maintaining the file/folder structure.

If you don't register (enter) the Panotour Pro license key within the software then it remains in demo mode.

No - things are not quite like that with Panotour Pro.
