Here are three panoramas taken in RAW, 6 around plus handheld zenith and two handheld, slightly oblique nadirs shot from either side of where I guessed the tripod to have been, and stitched with Autopano Pro 1.4.

The first panorama was stitched and blended by APP automatically. Considering two nadirs shot at arms length you might expect two pairs of boots near the South Pole but these disappeared during rendering. All that is left, which shouldn’t be there, is a single tripod leg, which I should have moved further away.
The second panorama had just a single pair of boots in the nadir (not two pairs despite two nadirs). Because of the long grass I simply cloned this out (less work than using the PS alpha channel)
The third had a number of stitching errors. Not sure why. If you look carefully you will find some PS retouch work. The retouch to the right of the gate wasn’t my error but that of the church warden. He had put a black refuse sack out to be collected, but on the wrong day of the week I fancy. Can’t have that kind of thing in Hertfordshire, you know! Again, one pair of boots needed cloning out. And there is a tripod leg in frame again.
If you haven’t tried Autopano Pro its worth a free trial download.
Mark
PS Checking out this posting I just spotted a bad stitch at the beginning of the footbridge. Ah well!!

Working after midnight I didn't notice a couple of stitching errors, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. I've corrected them now but I left the wayward bit of tripod leg in.
