Ok my coding skills are a bit poor, when you say cropped what exactly do you mean, I'll do my best to fix.
BTW, if you follow the back button and try the 'large java' is that also not dislaying correctly ?
thanks

Hi Marcus,
It displays like this,

in FF 1.5 also displays the same for the java version.
Works fine in IE.
Not sure why, my coding is usually luck that it works.

Someone else will most likely know.

Thanks falk,
Yuk, that looks bad !
I've set the applets to be width=95%, height=85%,
The width setting seems to be working ok, but not the height.
Any coding gurus out there able to explain?

Its the first line in the code !DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC stuff. If you set it to one doctype it works in firefox another doesn't. I don't know if you really need it at all to be honest. Fine one that works and pinch its first line or just try the free pageot software which will generate your code for you and is normally pretty well thought out. Or just cut it out all together.

My entry was taken at the Stondon Transport Museum in S. Beds. This is one of several halls packed with exhibits:

I took some from the middle of the river on the ferry but this one you can see the chains which is kind of the point even if you get less of a view of the river. It's kind of shady but that does mean you get a nice sky. Theres not a huge amount going on but it shows the chains.

Its one of the first ones I have done with my second hand sigma 8mm f4 off ebay so comments are very welcome.

The pano looks generally nice but I think you should eliminate the cross in the zenith by some careful cloning, assuming you did not take a separate zenith shot to use for a patch. Otherwise, I noted some chromatic aberration when zooming in. That can be effectively eliminated in RAW conversion with Photoshop CS or CS2. (I strongly recommend using RAW for this very reason). The shadows are somewhat blocked up, but difficult to avoid in high contrast scenes. Masking bracketed shots can help. I hope you enjoy your new lens. I made many excellent panos with one. However, I ought to have mentioned above that my pano was taken with the new Sigma F/3.5. Another F/4 now on Ebay!

Purchased photo gear and software a little over a year ago. Since that time I have at best produced maybe 1/2 dozen panos. Over the past three days I have had a crash course on how too's reading forums such as this. I do have a pano for the transportation theme. I am however not pleased with the quality of image. I did shoot in RAW, processed in PSCS2, just loosing quality in image compared to those on forums such as this. Sorry, this will probably not view in firefox, I have somemore studies to do. Anyways any and all comments are welcome.

I called it Bird House

While the Bird House .mov file is 2MB, the equirectangular image size is only 2500x1250 pixels, which is too small for a full screen presentation. I suggest you stitch your images to maximum size, which should deliver a file size of around 7000x3500 or more. Do all your editing at that size. The zenith patch is not invisible. If you generate a rectilinear view of the zenith by extracting tiles with Pano2QTVR or using PTEditor, you could make the patch fit the boundaries of rectangular structures in the ceiling using the transform tools and a layer mask. Careful adjustment of brightness etc. with curves and the hue-saturation tool should produce an undetectable join.

Downsize to 5000x2500, sharpen with USM and use Pano2QTVR with compression 65. You should then have a much better quality full screen display.

Thanks John,

I belive I am now on the right track. Full screen comes in at less than a mb. Used the Pano2QTVR as you suggested. Also went back ot RAW images and started over. I know that I have some stitch errors but out of time today, must go to the job that pays for my pano hobby. My stitch errors I belive is the nodal is still just a tick off. Thanks again for the help.

New link.

Gone over the Doctype page intro, can't see any errors and it's the right type, ie 'tansitional / loose'.
Only solution I can find is to drop the whole lot and go straight in with <html>
www.threesixtyvr.co.uk/tours/transport/scrap_lg_q...
This has fixed the firefox/mozilla browser problem so I guess I'll just leave out the intro doctype in future, and go back over the site to remove it from any other pages not dispaying correctly with firefox.

The 'Oyster Run' 25th annual meet-up in Anacortes,WA brought over 5000+ stock and custom bikes to town this last weekend. I took over a 100 stills and shot 7 secondary panos. The raw images are behind the thumbnails for a closeup look of the bikes. My submission pano is from a platform above the event. The links can be found on the front page of www.panotools.info .
