Andrey,
Second one is better - more "live" I think.

Hello, I like the first one because of the great view out of the station!

They are both technically excellent but I like the second because of the expressions of the train passengers particularly the guy with his head resting on his shoulder.

They're both great, I like the fact that No.1 has two ROI's; the waiting train and the view through the window. But I think No.2 is more dynamic, it's a shame that there's no-one about in the station to add some extra interest to the 'rear' view. my vote is for No.2 Marcus

Marcus,
Can you explain ROI to me? I see you use it quite a bit and I find it confusing. Where I come from ROI = "Return On Investment" and that hardly seems right in your context.
I also think both are good panoramas, but why does it matter which one? WWP is not a competition.

Hi smooth, ROI= Region of Interest I think I may have picked it up from the immervision scripting info, if it's not a universal anacronim (sp?) maybe i should stick to long hand!
Whilst WWP is not a competition; it is nice to think that you've submitted good piece of work, so I guess Andrey is just looking for some feedback. Alternatively, as you can only submit one entry, and Andrey can rightly be proud of both, perhaps it was just an excuse to share them with us

I would select the first for a photo contest, the second one for a newspaper and would let National Geographic decide by itself. In a future series 'Moscow Subway' you would not skip the first but in a 'Moscovites' series you would retain the second one.
Most newspapers would crop the second one, NG would use a fold-out for the first.
(I interrupted my nth attempt to select the right Grenoble tramway QTVR for WWP to go to Panoguide, this thread was at the top of the list...)

Exactly!
I just can't deside if WWP is closer to the NG or newspaper
Or it is possible to change the question - do we, WWP participants, want WWP events reflect NG approach (observation) or more social 'jourmalism' attitude (participation).
With the first pano I can tell a couple of words about Moscow river - it was important part of the transportation system long ago. This adds some educational value to the potential submission.
But I lean to the second pano - it is more emotional. And I remember the times when I was sleeping in the early metro train exactly like this guy
