I didn’t have any problem accessing your site. Everything loads quickly for me. I enjoyed your tour through the landscape, even if the time of year is a bit bleak and lacking in color. I like the map and directional radar.
Like Dennis, I’m no fan of fake lens flares. In my opinion, they add nothing but a distraction.
The sky and landscape in the direction of the sun are badly overexposed. If you shoot RAW in manual mode, expose for the sky, and then process to bring up the shadows, you’ll have richer colors and better detail.
I hope you have another chance to take this hike and shoot with improved exposure settings.
