I saw that happen before and I don't like either, a removed by admin or later deleted or so will be more appropiate and respectfull toward the members

Apologies Dorin, bigwade and everyone. This was an oversight on my part, and I have updated the thread to explain.
No one likes to feel they have been "censored", but at the same time I do not think we should tolerate arguments on this public forum that get aggressive and personal. The purpose of the forum is to share ideas, and for collaboration to further panoramic photography - helping newbies and pros alike. IMHO aggression has no place here and some people will not take part if they think they might get personal abuse.
I rely on all readers of panoguide to let me know if you see objectionable content on the site. If you feel yourself getting angry after reading something on the forum, please use the link to let me know instead of posting an aggressive response. The alert moderator link does not merely send an email behind the scenes - it does alert me within minutes if at all possible.

i would guess that somewhere in the rules, it says something about James running a benevolent dictatorship and that he has the final say,
i'm okay with that.

Thanks James, if members want to behave like kids, they should exchange emails and sort it out away from the forum instead of boring us with their petty little arguments.
