Here's a late night -- can't sleep -- idea about 3D panos

James,
Dorin's demos of cross eyed 3D panos was (I think) successful.
The biggest problem seems to me not to be the creation but the viewing. My eyes still hurt... And not everybody can see cross eyed panos
There is at least one stereoscopic viewer that makes viewing 3D panos easier.
www.pokescope.com/pokescopeinfo.html
There are probably many others.
Here's my idea. Contact one or three stereoscopic viewer makers about selling their viewer to Panoguidians (us) at a discount. Having available a viewer that makes viewing 3D panos easier will encourage other panographers to try to make them -- thus advancing that area of panography.
And 3D is one step closer to actual immersive VR.
Then I won't have to keep saying, "Ow! My eyes!"

Hi Ken,
Interesting idea. I have a few stereo (red/blue/green) glasses from stereoscopy.com and they sell various stereo imaging viewers and things. I'll see what I can find!
Regards James
