A personal question to James Rigg

Dear James, I feel as if I can call you by your Christian name because I feel I know you. Whenever I logon to panoguide, virtually every day, I am always gobsmacked by the beauty of the header pano, often taken by you. How on earth do you do it, how on earth do you have the time and the amount of travel involvedf? Never mind the technicalities of it, I don't study the panos looking for paralex etc (I don't suppose I'd know it if I saw it, only in extreme cases) I just look at the end result. Ditto to many other contributors, but you, Jsmes, seem to appear the most often. By the time i've finished looking, its time to go to bed!!!! Mike

Hi Michael,

You see quite a lot of my photos simply because the limit of 5 panoramic images applies to everyone... except me. I guess that means I have some kind of unfair advantage, but I hope to be able to increase the number of images each member can upload - I need to improve the imaging engine really.

I don't think I have created many images - I am sure John, Dorin, Smooth and many of the other regular forum contributors have far far more panoramic images than me, and they have created better ones than my attempts!

If you are interested in browsing panoramic images for ideas, inspiration etc be sure to have a look through the galleries thread - many people prefer to put their panoramas on their own website and just post a link.

Regards
James.
