Website updates

Just a few small changes:-
* the forum feed is now available in 3 formats and validates OK. (However getting the feeds to work reliably in every possible aggregator is, err, hard, so I welcome your feedback).
* I have tweaked the forum settings in response to Dorin's feedback (thanks Dorin) so it shouldn't complain you are "shouting" when you aren't. The code involved makes a bit of a guess based on what you type in, so likewise I'd welcome feedback, comments etc if you encounter problems.
Thanks James.

Hi James,
I am just curious about something. Have you built this forum system from scratch?

Hi Ped,
Not quite, but more-or-less. At the time I first created it I could not find free Java-based forum solutions, plus I fancied the challenge. Granted there are now plenty of solutions out there, but I quite like the simple no-frills look and feel of panoguide. At some point I may modify the site and integrate JForums or similar.
Regards James.

MacOS X /Forums: latest threads (all forums)
On all my installed browsers when the thread comprizes more than one page, clicking on the "go to last post" button dosn't give the expected result: that opens the top of the first page and not the bottom of the most recent (last) page. It works fine on a single page though.
Regards, Michel

That happen on my end too, I think is since the very begining of the new look of panoguide. Win2000 IE and FF

OK I've checked and fixed that. The link to get to the last post in a thread, i.e. this image: was broken on several pages, and the links in the updated RSS/Atom feeds had the same mistake.
Please let me know if you encounter any other problems!
James.

James,
If you wrote Panoguide from scratch, WOW! Nice work.
Really, you should package your scripts and methods and sell them as a blog package. It looks so much better than most -- I've not seen better.

I have also noticed that the links in the image banners at the tops of the pages does not show up in Safari but they do show in FireFox.
