Don't know about everyone else but this is about the first time I've been able to read panoguide this weekend.

Yes, panoguide was down most of the weekend in the end. Thank you to those of you who took time to email me about it.
My hosting provider tells me the machine hosting panoguide had a hard disk failure - when they rebooted the server it still had errors and it took them some hours to recover everything.
Apologies, James.

James,
It's not exactly the first time this has happened and it nearly always seems to happen on weekends?

Hi Jim,
Yes I know! I fully intend to investigate alternative hosting before my annual hosting runs out. It's not that difficult to find companies offering the features panoguide requires, but everyone claims so-called "99.9%" uptime, but there's no way of knowing whether they really do deliver that stability.
I am open to recommendations of hosting providers, but please note that panoguide requires Java hosting.
Thanks and apologies once again for the down time.
James.
